Services Overview
Shopify Web Masters provides professional services including but not limited to:
- Shopify store design and development
- Custom theme development
- App integrations and custom app development
- Store migration services
- SEO and speed optimization
- Ongoing maintenance and technical support
All services are delivered based on a mutually agreed proposal, quotation, or contract.
Project Scope & Agreement
Every project is defined by a clear scope of work agreed upon before the start of the project. This includes:
- Deliverables
- Timeline
- Pricing
- Revisions
Any additional work outside the agreed scope will be treated as out of scope and may incur additional charges and revised timelines.
Client Responsibilities
To ensure timely and successful project completion, the client agrees to:
- Provide accurate and complete project requirements
- Share necessary access (Shopify, hosting, third-party tools, etc.)
- Respond to communication and approvals in a timely manner
- Provide content, images, and other required materials
Delays caused by the client may affect delivery timelines and are not the responsibility of Shopify Web Masters.
Payment Terms
- Payments must be made according to the agreed pricing structure (full, milestone-based, or partial upfront).
- Work will commence only after the initial payment is received (if applicable).
- Failure to complete payments may result in project suspension or delayed delivery.
- All payments are non-refundable unless stated otherwise in the Refund Policy or contract.
Revisions & Changes
- Revisions are limited to what is defined in the project agreement.
- Additional revisions or major changes beyond scope may require extra charges.
- Change requests must be communicated clearly and approved before implementation.
Project Timeline
Estimated timelines are provided based on project requirements. However:
- Timelines may vary due to client delays, revisions, or unforeseen technical challenges
- Shopify Web Masters will make reasonable efforts to meet deadlines but does not guarantee fixed completion dates unless explicitly stated
Intellectual Property Rights
- Upon full payment, the client receives ownership of the final deliverables
- Shopify Web Masters retains the right to showcase completed projects in its portfolio, marketing materials, and case studies
- Any third-party assets (themes, plugins, apps) remain subject to their respective licenses
Third-Party Tools & Services
We may integrate or recommend third-party tools such as apps, plugins, or APIs. Shopify Web Masters is not responsible for:
- Performance or reliability of third-party tools
- Subscription fees associated with third-party services
- Policy changes or discontinuation of third-party services
Limitation of Liability
Shopify Web Masters shall not be liable for:
- Any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of revenue, data, or business opportunities
- Issues arising from third-party platforms, hosting, or Shopify updates
Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential any sensitive information shared during the project, including business data, credentials, and proprietary information.
Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement under reasonable circumstances. In such cases:
- The client will be billed for all completed work
- Access to project files or deliverables will be granted only after payment settlement
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with applicable international business practices unless otherwise specified.
